Ron Hinn Awarded SPE Honorary Membership

We would like to take a moment to recognize one of our very own PetroSkills experts for receiving the highest honor awarded by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Ron Hinn was awarded the prestigious SPE Honorary Membership Award for his exceptional service and leadership to the society and the community, as well as major professional contributions to his technical discipline. PetroSkills is proud to have elite individuals such as Hinn leading our company.

Hinn shared, “SPE has been, and remains, a key professional network for me. Society members share a common goal of collaboration, exchange and service. To be a recipient of Honorary Membership is humbling.”

 

Ron Hinn is the EVP for Sales and Member Engagement for PetroSkills. He is a people-oriented manager, possessing strong leadership and communication skills. A registered professional engineer, Ron's 39-year career has spanned numerous roles including staff engineering, engineering supervision, corporate knowledge management and professional staffing and competency development. Ron is an active supporter of global engineering accreditation activities, having served in multiple roles for ABET up to and including Executive Committee of the ABET Board. Ron received a BS degree from the University of Tulsa in petroleum engineering.
