Security Training: Security Personnel is designed to help you meet the requirements of 33 CFR 105.210 and the Coast Guard's Homeland Security initiatives. You will learn about your security roles and responsibilities.

Operators, technicians, and other professionals who require knowledge to operate and maintain facilities safely and effectively.You Will Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Describe security responsibilities.
- Describe the purpose and requirements of a Facility Security Plan (FSP).
- Properly interpret the meaning and requirements of the different MARSEC levels.
- Define the requirements for establishing and working in restricted areas.
- Describe contemporary security threat patterns.
- Identify suspicious behavior and describe how to respond to it.
- Describe the purpose and function of crowd management.
- Identify the requirements for emergency response and contingency planning.
