In this course, we discuss basic principles on which most refrigerated gas processing plants operate. We will discover how natural gas is formed, its composition and contaminants it contains. You will learn about different types of separators in addition to different options for crude oil dehydration. Additionally, you will learn about NGL extraction and the different extraction technologies available, ending the section with the Claus unit.
