In this course, you will learn safe electrical practices. Including basic electrical terminology, the impact of electrical current on the body, and the potential hazards it poses to personnel. You will also learn about grounding electrical equipment, taking necessary precautions when working with such equipment, and responding in emergency situations. Additionally, we cover the distribution of power from generating plants to leases, along with an overview of the distribution equipment found on a lease. Lastly, you will be taught how to measure electrical usage, including units of measurement and reading meters.
