About the eLearning Course
Offshore Water Safety is designed to help you meet the training requirements of Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974. You will learn about offshore rig hazards, safe work practices, and emergency action/response plan elements. You will also learn about emergency evacuation plans, personal flotation devices (PFDs), and lifeboats and life rafts.

Participants will learn how to:
- Describe offshore rig hazards and safety procedures for transferring to and from the rig.
- Explain how safe work practices reduce potential risks.
- Outline the types of information included in an emergency action/response plan.
- Describe the elements of the emergency evacuation plan (EEP).
- List the features of different personal flotation devices.
- Identify the purpose and function of lifeboats and life rafts.
