- Describe the purpose and function of piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Summarize the purpose and function of isometric drawings.
- List the information found on equipment drawings, including equipment connections, orientation, size, and location.
- Understand the many and varied symbols contained within a P&ID chart.
- Recognize the tags and callouts on a P&ID.
- Read and interpret pipe line specifications, including size, rating, insulation, and flashing.
- Identify where instrumentation measurement and control devices are located, including the type of controller in each loop.
