About the eLearning Course
Hot Work is designed to help you meet the training requirements of The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. You will learn how hot work is defined, how to prepare a work space for hot work and how to conduct fire watches to prevent incidences of fire or explosion.

Operators, technicians, and other professionals who require knowledge to operate and maintain facilities safely and effectively.You Will Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Define hot work and hot tapping.
- Describe the hazards of hot work and define the strategies for controlling hazards.
- Identify key steps in preparing a site for hot work, including identifying personal protective equipment.
- Identify the hazards associated with atmospheric storage tanks and pressure vessels.
- List the responsibilities of an Authorized Permit Writer and identify the information needed on a hot work permit.
