About the eLearning Course
Hazwoper: Awareness is designed to help you meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120. It covers information mandated by the standard, including what hazard materials are, and how to approach them during an incident. Also covered are methods for detecting and identifying hazardous materials and how to use the DOT emergency response guidebook.

Operators, technicians, and other professionals who require knowledge to operate and maintain facilities safely and effectively.You Will Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Identify the duties of a first responder at the awareness level.
- Practice providing an awareness level response.
- Define hazardous materials.
- List physical hazards associated with chemicals.
- Identify health hazards associated with chemicals.
