The way you attack a fire depends on several different factors, including how the fuel is burning and the location of the fire. In this course, you will learn the tactics of hose handling, of operating valves under fire exposure, of using dry chemical and foam, and of protecting pressure vessels.

- Describe how to attack and extinguish a fire using dry chemicals.
- Identify a gravity flow fire and a pressure fire and specify the tactics and strategies for fighting them.
- Describe how to attack and extinguish a fire using foam tactics.
- Identify how to properly protect pressure vessels from rupturing during a fire.
