Fall Prevention is designed to help you meet the basic training requirements of Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR). The program identifies the various types of fall hazards and shows you ways to reduce or eliminate the danger. Special emphasis on selection and use of lanyards, full body harnesses and anchorage points.

Participants will learn how to:
- Describe the nature of fall hazards in the work area.
- Identify and describe how to properly use fall prevention systems.
- Identify how to avoid the hazards of suspension trauma.
- Identify the required components in a fall prevention plan.
- Describe how to provide overhead protection when working with fall prevention equipment.
- Identify the function and design of fall arrest equipment.
- Identify and describe how to properly use fall arrest equipment.
- Describe proper anchoring and tie-off techniques.
- Describe how to properly use a full-body harness.
- Identify how to inspect and store fall arrest equipment.
