About the eLearning Course
Eye and Face Protection is designed to help you meet the training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133 and 1910.132(f). It covers information mandated by the standard, including how eye and face injuries occur, and how the proper selection and use of personal protective equipment can prevent injuries.

Operators, technicians, and other professionals who require knowledge to operate and maintain facilities safely and effectively.You Will Learn
Participants will learn how to:
- Describe the function and components of the eye and how it works to produce vision.
- Identify the causes of common eye and face injuries.
- List the different types of safety glasses, when they should be used, and their limitations.
- Clarify when goggles should be used.
- Understand the role of face shields and the extent of their protection.
- Know the purpose of a welding helmet and when their use is required.
- Describe how to properly use and care for protective eye and face equipment.
- Examine first-aid procedures for eye and face injuries.
