Philip Redding

Phil Redding retired after 39 years with BG and Shell. He played a key role in BG’s growth in the international LNG business over a period of more than 20 years, leading and overseeing the development and design of the Atlantic LNG and Egyptian LNG projects, two of the fastest and lowest cost projects in the industry. Following that he worked closely with the LNG business development team, eventually leading the BG LNG Center of Excellence. In these roles he led LNG import and export terminal feasibility studies, site selection studies, environmental and safety applications, FEED work, EPC bidding and contract evaluation and award. He also advised on and supported the development of LNG strategy, led technical due diligence activities on many LNG prospects and supported LNG led country entries around the world.
