In-house Training Proposals and Logistics Specialist

Responsible for handling requests from a global client base for In-House (IH) Training, including communication with client, proposal generation / follow up and logistics for confirmed sessions.

LOCATION: Katy, TX (Houston area) or Tulsa, OK preferred (remote locations will be considered)


- Provide customer service to clients requesting PetroSkills courses to be delivered specifically for their staff
- Effective screening of opportunities that come through the In-House Department:
►To ensure PetroSkills is providing our clients with the best training options available to meet their needs
►To ensure all opportunities which are processed through the IH team support a strategic position to enhance revenue generation for the organization
►To ensure compliance with all government sanctions and regulations regarding countries and companies with whom we do business
- Adherence to IH processes to ensure training delivery as requested by the client
- Ensure IH pricing is correct and updated for general client proposals and meets PetroSkills’ revenue targets
- Generation of financial back sheet for each opportunity to ensure financial targets are met
- Liaise with Technical SMEs and Instructors on opportunities and proposals, as required
- Liaise with external clients to resolve any contract conflicts and ensure clients’ needs are being met
- Generate and issue commercial proposal documents to be provided to clients for execution and agreement to proceed with proposed training and pricing
- Coordinate logistics in preparation for a course to be delivered for the client either virtually or face to face at their specified location
- Keep various databases updated and current for all IH opportunities
- Provide statistical data and reports as required


- Ability to work effectively as a member of the IH Team, especially in a virtual/remote business environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and general database usage




  • - High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • - Two years of customer service and/or account management experience required

  • - Some sales and project management experience required

- Experience working with contracts and proposals preferred

Occasionally may lift between 5-25 pounds.
